Garden Fairytale

This is an ongoing project exploring the allegorical and poetic aspects of the garden and its archetypes, based on my own garden. In Jungian psychology the anima figure can be seen as a personification of the unconscious,often related to nature."A mysterious or supernatural woman whose powers represent the unknown emotional, intuitive, imaginative and transformative forces within the psyche." The garden becomes the world of the anima, an allegorical realm between ordinary reality and the unconscious. Objects within the garden,the bell,shadows,moonlight,spear,arrow,horse etc become secondary symbols within the same allegorical framework.
